Someplace to put my windows blinds skins
I was using a free version of skin studio and was creating a custom skin. The problem is that certain icons, such as horizontal and vertical tray-notifying arrows, require .tga files. The .bmp files I used to replace those, though they show in skin studio, they do not show when using the custom skin. Can anyone help me?

I occasionally have probs with those disappearing, dont know what happens,if I delete them and put them back it usually fixes them.If you are using bitmaps instead of .tga, make sure translucency is NOT selected.  Sometimes unloading WB and reloading fixes them.Or applying the skin a second time from WB config,or from Skinstudio if originally applied from WB config.

confused...hope not.

Sometimes messing with the alpha level will force them to show.

You need to uncheck translucency setting for the image and leave the transparency setting checked if there is magic pink. Translucency is only checked when you have a tga.

hi again...

That translucency thing solved most of the problems... but I still have this one image that still stubbornly appears invisible, and it's the "Please Wait" image...

It's still invisible even though I turned off the "Translucency" option. I only see the "Please Wait" phrase instead...

If the image is a .bmp then leave transparency checked only. If it is a .png or .tga then check both transparency and translucency.

Maybe the free version doesn't skin that. I am not sure. Other than that it should work.

You can also manually check the code for errors.

Actually, the only attribute option for the Please Wait image is translucency - enabled or not. If enabled, the image should be a .tga with alpha-channel transparency. If not enabled, I believe you can use a .bmp with magic pink for transparency.
